1. Porteno [Recommended]

Address: 358 Cleveland Street
Surry Hills NSW 2010
Price range: $15 - $50

Porteno is a heaven for steak lover in Sydney. For many Ozzy, the fire-licked pork and lamb offerings from the asado pit draws mouth-watering attraction and unique experience on its own. In addition, charry and juicy nirvana of buttery wagyu grilled over charcoal is not something to be missed by many Porteno faithful.
Try also the Argentina’s Brussels sprouts with lentils or that homey white polenta with its walnut crunch and creamy Gorgonzola kick on the side dish menu.
While you're seldom left with much room for dessert, the prospect of caramelized custard with peach and blueberries, or tequila granita with tapioca pearls, slivers of young coconut and cubes of coconut-water jelly brought together with coconut cream may be enough to convince your stomach otherwise.

2. Max Brenner

A fountain of chocolate fondue at the entrance, jars filled with chocolate treats lined on the dark mahogany cabinets, pots filled with milk and white chocolate were churning away, it does feel like “Willy Wonka” had been brought to life.
Maybe a mountain of Banana split sundae with caramelized nuts and melted chocolate to indulge your sweet tooth? Or maybe a box of pralines to celebrate your love story?
